Volunteer Get Involved!TART is grateful for 10 years of support from a diverse group of outdoor enthusiasts who continue to support the organization with thousands of volunteer hours annually. Many volunteers work as trail builders, trail maintainers, office assistants, and board & committee members. It's a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, and enjoy the outdoors with your friends and family. Whatever your age or ability, we need your help. Current Volunteer Opportunities: (updated on 05/27/2010) Orchard Creek Living Trail Outing - Weekly walk with residents on the Trail Wed at 11 or Tues at 4 for 30 min. Contact pam@traversetrails.org for more details. Carter Rd. Caboose Project- Project to refurbish interior of caboose. Contact missy@traversetrails.org Office data entry- Contact pam@traversetrails.org for more details. State Theatre - TART volunteers on the 3rd Monday of the month to work at the State Theatre. Contact pam@traversetrails.org for more details. Tour de TART - We had another successful Tour de TART in 2009 with 486 participants and 75 volunteers! We have our work cut out for us to top 2009, and we plan on digging deep because the 2010 event is the 10th annual event. Feel free to mark your calendars for August 6, 2010 for the next Tour de TART! Anyone interested in volunteering, let us know. We have a few openings.
